Sizes

All women's socks are sock size 9-11, which fits shoe size 5-9 1/2.
All men's socks are sock size 10-13, which fits shoe size 8 1/2 - 12.
Men's socks, unless otherwise noted, are mid-calf length.

We can only accept orders from the U.S. Orders can be placed through our secure site or by using the Fax/Mail Order Form.

To use the Fax Order Form, print it from your browser and fill in the information. If there isn't enough room on the form, print another copy, completing all shipping and billing information on both. Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and American Express only. No cash or checks.

Gifts

If you are sending a gift, please include a gift message. That way, we will know not to include pricing information with the order.
We are unable to provide gift wrapping at this time.

Gift Certificates

Too many choices? Don't know what socks the sock lover already owns? Our solution: The Joy of Socks Gift Certificate. Because half the fun is picking out your own socks!

And by the way, there is no expiration date for the gift certificate. Use it now, next month, next year, whenever!

Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash. Merchandise purchased with a gift certificate may be returned for merchandise credit only.

Shipping and Handling

We ship to the 50 United States as well as FPO, APO, and U.S. Territories. We do not ship or bill orders internationally.

Priority Mail is a best effort by the US Postal Service to deliver within 3 days. During the Holiday Season this may take longer.

UPS Ground can take from 1-6 business days. Saturday and Sunday are not delivery days. A map of delivery times can be found here.Or for more specific delivery dates, check the UPS website. We ship from Newburyport 01950.

Do not include the day the order is placed when calculating shipping times.

Note: UPS charges a $5.00 fee for address correction. If the shipping address contains incorrect or incomplete information (missing apartment number, street number, etc.), the additional $5.00 fee will be charged to your credit card.

There is no tax added to orders. Massachusetts does not charge sales tax on socks.

Return Policy

• Please email first with any returns or exchanges at info@joyofsocks.com.
• Damaged items or shortages must be reported within 10 days. All other returns must be received within 30 days.
• The customer is responsible for all shipping fees.
• We can not accept returns or exchanges on opened/worn/"just tried on" tights. Returned tights which have been opened will be disposed of and no credit will be issued.
• Items to be returned must be unworn, in the original packaging, unopened. Opened and/or worn items will be accepted less a 20% restocking fee.
• All sale items are final sales. Sale items returned will be disposed of and no credit will be issued.
